Measure before
you cut.
Five steps, in this order, every car. The thickness read happens before we open a bottle of compound. The plan goes on paper before we open a polisher.

Intake & decon
Two-bucket wash, iron remover, clay-bar decon. The car has to be clean before we measure. Otherwise the gauge reads contamination.

Paint-thickness map
28 readings across the body with a Defelsko or PosiTest gauge. The map tells us the safe cut depth on every panel.

Remediation plan
Written. Includes compound grade, pad combination, target cut depth, panels we are leaving alone. Owner signs before we polish.

Correction
Multi-stage: cut, polish, refine. Re-measured at each stage. We finish at a no-marring, single-stage 3000-grit pad.

Protect

Q01Why is there a wait?+−
We do five cars a day at most. Every car gets a paint-thickness map and a written remediation plan before we polish a panel. That takes time and we will not skip it.
Q02What is paint-thickness mapping?+−
We measure clear-coat depth at 28 points across the body with an electronic gauge. The reading tells us how aggressive we can be with the cutting compound — and where we cannot safely go.
Q03Why a filtered-air install bay?+−
PPF and ceramic both fail if dust lands during install. Our bay runs at positive pressure with HEPA filtration. It is the difference between a 10-year warranty and a peeled corner in 18 months.
